AN ALLEGED drug dealer who swung at police in a dramatic arrest at Sydney Airport yesterday was also filmed in a confrontation with police during former Comanchero boss Mahmoud “Mick” Hawi’s funeral procession.

Peter Vaiusu, 34, and his brother Henry Vaiusu, 32, were yesterday arrested and charged over a massive stash of sub-machine guns, semi automatics, drugs and $2.75 million worth of cash found in a south Sydney storage shed by Strike Force Raptor officers.

Peter had just arrived on a flight from New Zealand when he was arrested and swung his cuffed arms at a police cameraman who was filming his arrest.

Hawi, once a Comanchero national president, was laid to rest on February 22 after he was shot dead outside a Rockdale gym.

As his hearse made its way to Rookwood Cemetery, Raptor officers swooped on a row of luxury white cars which followed.

As a mob of angered Comanchero associates were ordered out of their cars and began arguing with one officer, Peter began filming the altercation on his phone.

“Searching us for no F.... Reason”, he is heard to say as he momentarily turns the camera on himself.

A number of mourners were charged for consorting with each other at the funeral.

Both brothers were denied bail in Sutherland Local Court today, with their charges adjourned to July 26.

Detective Chief Superintendent Stuart Smith said the community should be grateful the drugs and powerful firearms seized by police were off the streets.

“Obviously this seizure is significant and obviously the community should be concerned about these kind of weapons. They are automatic weapons,” Supt Smith said.

He said the drugs seized were worth more than $500,000 on the street and worryingly included GBL, known as the “coma drug”.
