Souths legend Craig Coleman’s son Liam charged with assault
The son of South Sydney champ Craig “Tugger” Coleman has been charged over the alleged assault of a woman at the Coogee Bay Hotel. Liam Coleman is the second NRL player to be charged over the incident.

The son of South Sydney champion Craig Coleman was charged alongside Wests Tigers forward Zane Musgrove for allegedly indecently assaulting a 22-year woman at the Coogee Bay Hotel last month.

The woman reported the alleged incident to security and later made a report to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command.
On Wednesday detectives charged Musgrove with assault with act of indecency, aggravated indecent assault (offender in company), and common assault.
Detectives charged Coleman with assault with an act of indecency, and aggravated indecent assault (offender in company) the following day.
Both men were granted conditional bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on January 23, 2019.
The Penrith club released a media statement on Saturday morning.
“Penrith Panthers is aware of allegations made against Intrust Super Premiership NSW player Liam Coleman,’’ the statement read.
“New South Wales Rugby League has been informed.
“Panthers will allow the court process to run its course and be making no further comment at this time.’’
The latest bad news for the code comes as Manly Sea Eagles player Dylan Walker was charged on Thursday night with assaulting his fiance at a home on the Northern Beaches.
In a statement police said they found a 24-year-old woman with “minor cuts to her shoulder, leg and feet”.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics.
