Snow way! It’s 100 days until Christmas

The countdown to the merriest day of the year is officially under way with today marking 100 days until Christmas and the announcement of a new immersive Christmas experience.

The countdown to the merriest day of the year is officially on, with today marking 100 days ’til Christmas.

And to get everyone into the spirit this year, The Venue Alexandria will be hosting The Christmas Portal, an immersive Christmas experience complete with indoor snow play and, of course, Santa.

A Sydney-first, The Christmas Portal will fill families with joy and jingles during a two to three-hour experience where elves and fairies will guide guests through an enchanted forest filled with unique characters, cinematic scenes, indoor snow and all the festive trimmings.

Tanya Rosenbaum, who checked out a preview of the portal with her daughter Evie, 7, said she usually left her Christmas shopping until the last minute, and the cost-of-living crisis would make gift-buying an extra challenge this year.

“I have to sell some of last year’s Christmas presents to be able to afford this year’s,” she said.

The Christmas Portal will run from December 14-23, with tickets now on sale.
