Investigators searched five properties in Cambridge Park, Berkshire Park, Castlereagh and Emu Plains throughout the morning, which come after months of investigation into the brutal heist which shocked Sydneysiders.

Officers seized several items relevant to the investigation including cash, guns, and a boat. Three cars were also seized as suspected proceeds of crime.

Robbery and Serious Crime Commander Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said that police believe James sourced and obtained the guns used in the shocking daylight robbery.

“Police will allege that the firearms that were used in the armed robbery were supplied and accessed by this 30-year-old male,” he said.
