Search underway after man, 60, stabbed in Mascot
Officers arrived at a home in south Sydney to find a 60-year-old man with multiple stab wounds, after an altercation at a neighbour’s house in the early hours.

Police are hunting for a man after a stabbing in south Sydney overnight.
Officers were called to a home on Robey Street, Mascot at 2.15am after reports a 60-year-old man had been stabbed in the thigh and back at a neighbour’s house when he was involved in the altercation with a man known to him.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries are underway to locate a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of caucasian appearance, age in his 40s, about 170-175cm tall and of a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a light-coloured T-shirt, dark-coloured shorts, a white baseball cap and was seen leaving in a white Mitsubishi Triton utility, with NSW registration YGB-09V.
Police are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts or which may assist investigators to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
