Sacked McGrath agent Adrian Bo targeted in series of memes

Axed McGrath salesman Adrian Bo is using his free time to take Christmas snaps with his model wife and dogs, but the photos have become the subject of playful memes following his sacking from the real estate company.

What does a sacked, red-faced, real estate agent do when he loses his job following an intense internal investigation into claims he made a lewd “c***” comment to a young staffer?

Brush the dust off his shoulders, put on the broadest beam for the camera, and strike a jolly pose with the beautiful model wife, Santa and fluffy dogs to boot — to create the perfect family portrait for all to see.

Within minutes of axed McGrath top salesman Adrian Bo sharing on Facebook the family Christmas snap taken at Watsons Bay yesterday, playful estate agents reappropriated the image to replace Santa with celebrity real estate founder John McGrath in a meme.

Mr Bo was forced to quit his job after 25 years at the firm ending a four-week probe into a complaint he asked a much younger staffer “how many c***s have you had in your mouth?”.

The investigation forced founder Mr McGrath, a fan of the high performing salesman he had personally hand-picked and trained, to step in as interim head of sales.

Last week the garrulous contractor’s employment was ended with the company CEO Geoff Lucas announcing in a statement: “The company takes its responsibilities of promoting inclusion and workplace safety seriously and will not tolerate breaches of its code of conduct by its contractors or staff members.

“I am personally committed to ensuring we have an environment that treats all workplace participants fairly and with respect.

“Behaviours such as bullying, harassment and unlawful discrimination are not acceptable at any time. I also want to take this opportunity to reassure you that we have robust HR processes in place to ensure you are provided with best and most supportive environment in which to undertake your work and career development.”

Another meme was this week circulating among titillated estate agents showing Bo bobbing in the ocean on a tinny entitled “unemployed” with a for sale sign attached.

Mr Bo is determined to draw a line under an emotional end to his career at the Coogee McGrath office and has been telling friends, it’s a question of time before he will “rise again like an eagle …”.

He vehemently maintains he never made the lewd comment to the junior colleague.

The junior staffer is said to be “relieved” the saga has ended and was this week seen back at work at the company’s Coogee office.

A source close to the young staffer today said: “He’s (name omitted) is well and happy to be back at work and to be getting on with it but anxious in the back of his mind that it’s not over yet.

“He just wants it all to go away and be forgotten.”
