PUBLICITY queen Roxy Jacenko cut a lonely figure yesterday morning as she made her way out of Parklea Correctional Centre after visiting her husband for the first time.

The usually impeccably dressed Jacenko dressed down, opting for jeans, a black turtleneck sweater and aviator sunglasses.

It was the first time the 36-year-old owner of top publicity firm Sweaty Betty had visited husband of four years Oliver Curtis since he was last month convicted of insider trading.

Curtis obtained insider information from former friend John Hartman, which resulted in the pair making $1.43 million in a year, and being sentenced to two years’ jail, with a minimum term of one year.

Jacenko avoided carrying her usually noteworthy designer handbag and removed her enormous Cerrone round-cut diamond engagement ring.

Jacenko and her children, Pixie, 4, and Hunter, 2, are permitted to visit the prison for a maximum of one hour, two days a week, between 8.45am and 11am, and 12.15pm and 2.45pm on any day except Tuesday.

However, it is understood Jacenko has told friends she will never take her children to visit their 30-year-old father in prison during his one-year incarceration.

She has also ruled out doing any media interviews, despite reports she has been wooed by Channel 7 to appear on their flagship weekly news show Sunday Night.

Jacenko is yet to comment publicly on her husband’s imprisonment. However, she has confided in close friends that while stunned by the verdict, she has been planning for life as a single mum for some time.

In a letter submitted to the NSW Supreme Court last month, Jacenko passionately explained that Curtis was the “primary carer of Pixie and Hunter”.

“He attends to large parts of their preschool commitments and after school care,” she wrote.

After the PR guru’s sombre prison visit, true to form Jacenko uploaded a perfectly polished “lift selfie” to Instagram which she captioned: “Brisbane we are coming for you.”
