SHE’S a social media darling who posts regular updates of her lavish life — and that of her children — online.
But the last thing PR maven Roxy Jacenko expected after her latest post was two policemen knocking on her door.
While she boasts 131,000 followers, clearly some of them aren’t fans, with two members of the public complaining about an image she shared to Instagram showing her five-year-old daughter Pixie sitting in the front seat of Roxy’s new Aston Martin Vantage — not in the legally required child booster seat.
But it turns out the complaints were unwarranted. Police officers in two separate cars descended on Jacenko’s North Bondi home to discuss the alleged infringement and quickly established the preschooler simply sat in the front of the stationary car to get a selfie with her mother.
Officers advised Jackeno to delete the photo from Instagram, which she did.
NSW Police yesterday confirmed the incident, however wouldn’t provide details of the complaint.
“About 8pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016, police attended a unit block on Ramsgate Ave, North Bondi,” a police spokesman said. “No one was home … however officers have spoken to all relevant parties and no further police action is required.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and it does not relate to any ongoing investigation.”
