EIGHT MINUTES: THE KEY PLAYERS
The lack of evidence from David’s crime scene is one of the most frustrating and perplexing elements of the homicide investigation.
One of the most puzzling pieces of evidence is the sixpack of beer that David had been carrying. The first person on the scene thought it was on a ledge. But had it been moved?
The plastic coated sixpack of VB bottles can be seen on a low brick ledge on the opposite corner of Berry Lane where David’s body was found.
The sixpack of beer appears intact, with its plastic casing undisturbed.
Helen McMullen, the motorist who stopped to help David, said she found it odd the beer was so neatly placed on the ledge. “It was like perhaps he had placed it there to talk to someone?”
