If you live along the NSW east coast it’s a good time to get out the dehumidifiers with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting another week of rain.
Casting forward to Sunday, Weatherzone has reported a possible rainfall total of up to 70mm, which could be as high as 100mm in some coastal areas.
The week has kicked off on a damp note this Monday, with light rain and overcast conditions expected to persist through the morning and daytime temperatures will reach a high of 22°C, dipping to 16°C overnight.
Tuesday continues the grey trend, with mostly cloudy conditions and a 80 per cent chance of afternoon rain while temperatures will hover around 21°C during the day and drop to 14°C in the evening.
A brief reprieve from the wet weather is forecast for Wednesday, offering Sydneysiders a glimpse of sunshine as the mercury is set to climb to a pleasant 23°C, with overnight lows of 14°C — making it the warmest day of the week.
However, there is still a 40 per cent chance of rain.
However, the dry spell is short-lived, Thursday may bring a passing morning shower, though the rest of the day should remain partly sunny with highs of 20°C and lows of 13°C.
Friday marks the return of more unsettled conditions with the likelihood of showers increases again, particularly in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will remain steady at 20°C, with another cool 13°C night ahead.
The weekend doesn’t promise much relief, Saturday will be breezy with a few scattered showers early in the day, before giving way to a mix of sun and clouds. Expect a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C.
