SYDNEY man Raban Alou has pleaded guilty to committing a terrorist act which resulted in the murder of police employee Curtis Cheng.
Alou has pleaded guilty to his role in supplying the gun to schoolboy Farhad Jabar which was later used to shoot Mr Cheng as he left NSW Police headquarters at Parramatta in October, 2015.
During a recent committal hearing, a Sydney court was played video footage of Alou on the day of the murder meeting with 15-year-old Jabar at Parramatta Mosque.
It was the Crown case that Alou gave Jabar a pistol in the female only section of the mosque — the only area not covered by CCTV.
