Showbiz royalty will also be accounted for with Victoria Beckham to attend with husband and Invictus ambassador David Beckham.

With three of the world’s most-watched and elegant women at the event, the Games are guaranteed to provide plenty of fashion action.

The Beckham brood — Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper — will also raise the style and celebrity stakes with the children making the trip to Sydney with their parents.

In a social media post, retired soccer superstar Mr Beckham said he couldn’t “wait to be part of the energy and excellence of the Games this year”.

Princess Mary’s trip home will be her second in less than a year with the future Queen of Denmark spending last Christmas in Australia with Prince Frederik and their four children.

The family were spotted enjoying the sun and surf at beaches in Tasmania and Sydney.

During her visit next month, Princess Mary should have much in common with the Duchess of Sussex with their fairytale royal love affairs often compared.

Both outsiders before marrying princes, Princess Mary famously met her husband at the Slip Inn pub during the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Meanwhile, a mutual friend of the Duke and Duchess arranged their first date in 2016 when Markle was a star on the hit US television show Suits.

Their husbands’ two countries also have close ties.

Prince Frederik has been a supporter of the Invictus Games since Prince Harry founded the event for wounded, sick and injured armed service personnel and veterans.

In May, he attended a reception at the Australian Embassy in Copenhagen for Danish Invictus Games athletes.

Prince Harry, a military veteran, visited Denmark last year to promote the Games. He founded the event after his flight leaving Afghanistan was delayed to load the coffin of a Danish soldier on-board the plane.
