The youngest sister of Premier Gladys Berejiklian has come out swinging against social media trolls, telling one who referred to her sibling’s nose to “grow some pubes”.
Corporate executive Mary Berejiklian unleashed on Instagram last week after a series of derogatory comments were posted beneath photos of the Premier.
After a comment about her sister’s “f …-off bird nose” went online, Mary accused the author of having a “bird brain”.
She wrote: “Disgusting 12-year-old — you even allowed to have an account? You have an immature bird brain that can’t come up with anything better than a bullying personal attack.”

When the poster tried to defend the attack, claiming the Coalition’s crackdown on music festivals was “destroying the culture of music and is also minimising many potential job opportunities”, Mary hit back.
“A baboon could tell your age based on your behaviour and sophistication in your writing,” Mary wrote.
Another person who entered the debate copped a spray after claiming the Premier “sucked”. Mary posted: “Grow some pubes then we can talk.”
When the person offered to “send them”, Mary challenged the use of the word “them”, asking: “Them, meaning all you got — two.”
Taking aim at another user who had described Gladys Berejiklian as “useless”, Mary said she had “more respect for possums”.
“Keep running Forrest,” she wrote, referring to the scene in the movie Forrest Gump where Forrest is urged to run from bullies.
When another online critic took aim at the Premier for killing Sydney night-life by introducing the lockout laws while starting a “war on festivals”, Mary accused the user of not understanding the policies.
“You have become a sheep rattling off the same BS that doesn’t make sense,” she said. “You don’t even know what polices you are arguing.”
Another user, who uses the name of Losty, declared the premier would be “gone” by March. Mary told him: “How ’bout you get losty.”
The Premier’s office would only say that the posts were in response to “derogatory” statements.
Mary, who works for News Corp, is fiercely protective of Ms Berejiklian, 48, who cared for both her younger sisters while their immigrant Armenian parents worked full-time.
Mary said her sister did not deserve to be personally attacked “by a minority of cowardly people”, but added some of the comments may not have been her “finest”.
“Glad has worked hard and passionately for the people of NSW and this hasn’t been limited to these past two years but since she was 17 years of age,” she said. “She doesn’t deserve being personally attacked by a minority of cowardly people hiding behind the comfort of their online social media accounts, hurling profanities with no ramifications.”.
“I didn’t want any of these online bullies getting a free hit and I have no doubt several were shocked that someone fought back.”
