A 29-year-old woman has given birth after losing control of a car, mounting a kerb and crashing into a vacant house in Sydney’s west. It is unclear if the accident brought on the labour.

A 29-year-old pregnant woman has given birth after crashing her car into a vacant house in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to a home in Edensor Park about 11.30pm on Friday and found the woman at the scene of the crash.

It appears the woman lost control of the vehicle before mounting the kerb and crashing into the front wall of a vacant home.

Following the incident, paramedics assessed her and she was taken to Liverpool Hospital where she gave birth.

It is unclear if the accident brought on labour but the mother and her baby are in a stable condition.
