THE former wife of controversial developer Salim Mehajer has made a fresh complaint against him and asked police to apply for a new apprehended violence order restricting him from contacting her.
Aysha Learmonth — who married Mehajer two years ago in one of Sydney’s most extravagant weddings — made the new complaints against him only a few days ago.
The 31-year year-old attended Hurstville police station on the weekend where she was interviewed by police and made a statement requesting a fresh AVO be taken out against him. Police said they would make an application on her behalf to be heard in Sutherland Local Court on August 9.
In July last year, an interim AVO against Mehajer was granted to Ms Learmonth after she complained to police about him harassing her.
