Kyle Sandilands’ partner Tegan Kynaston on cocaine bond during alleged cop slap
Kyle Sandilands’ girlfriend was serving an 18-month bond for cocaine possession at a popular Sydney bar when she allegedly assaulted a police officer after damaging the broadcaster’s luxury car on Saturday.

Kyle Sandilands’ girlfriend was serving an 18-month bond for cocaine possession when she allegedly slapped a female police officer and damaged the radio star’s Bentley. Tegan Kynaston, 33, allegedly damaged the door of Sandilands’ $350,000 car as the pair became embroiled in an argument on Beach Rd, Bondi Beach, on Saturday morning after Sandilands’ work Christmas party the night before. She was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for a mental health assessment before she was charged with assault with police alleging she slapped an officer called to the dispute.
In a separate incident, court documents obtained by The Daily Telegraph showed Kynaston was caught with 0.45 grams of cocaine by police patrolling outside the Beresford Hotel in Surry Hills just before 9.30pm on Friday, March 16, 2018. “The offender appeared to be waiting for someone as she continued to look up and down Bourke St,” court facts in the case said.
Kynaston jumped in the front passenger seat of a Hyundai iLoad which drove away then returned 10 minutes later. Police stopped Kynaston on the footpath and asked her if she had anything she should not have. “During the conversation the accused appeared nervous as she was talking fast and fidgeting with her skirt pockets,” the court documents said.
She was searched, with police finding a small resealable bag containing the cocaine and she was arrested. She refused an electronic interview and police charged her with possession. Officers also laid charges of resist arrest and use offensive language, which were later withdrawn. In Downing Centre Court on December 20, 2018 Kynaston received an 18-month conditional release order and no conviction was recorded. Kynaston’s new charge of assault police is listed in Waverley Local Court on January 21.
Meanwhile, Sandilands ex partner Imogen Anthony has claimed she still loves the controversial radio shock jock.
“We still love each other very much, share a home together and working on ourselves whilst still speaking everyday,” Anthony wrote in an Instagram story before removing the post. “Look at me, I’m good (trust me) but there is so much that is not known and will never be shared. It’s no one else’s business for starters. I know people want details, it’s like reality show sh*t to them. But what if I was to randomly walk and interrupt your personal space, by asking you for your personal details on your life to share, 9 times out of ten for people to meaninglessly comment on?? hmm … mind blown”
Sandilands announced his split from Anthony live on-air on his Kyle and Jackie O breakfast radio show last month after eight years together.
“A lot of people have been hitting us up on social media, a few media enquiries, about my relationship status,” he said. “We haven’t been with each other for quite a few months now. Unfortunately it’s run its course. So here we all are in the same boat. I’m single, you are, Intern Pete is. What a sad bunch of people. Just when you start to think everything’s good … That’s just the way it is. No problems there, but … you know how it is.”
