POLICE have found a gun and “hundreds of rounds of ammunition” in the western Sydney home of nightclub tsar John Ibrahim’s mother Wahiba Ibrahim today.
It has also been revealed Australian Federal Police found a semi-automatic firearm during a raid on the property in Price St, Merrylands, last Tuesday.
The AFP raids were part of Operation Veyda which landed two of Mrs Ibrahim’s other sons, Michael and Fadi, in a Dubai jail cell charged over an alleged syndicate smuggling drugs and illicit tobacco into Australia.

But today it was the State Crime Command’s Firearms Squad back at Mrs Ibrahim’s home allegedly unearthing at least one more gun and ammunition.
“They have found a gun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition of various calibres,” a police source told The Daily Telegraph.
During the search, police say they allegedly located a loaded 9mm semi-automatic Beretta handgun, loaded magazines and various calibres of ammunition.
A 69-year-old woman was spoken to at the home with the assistance of an interpreter, but no arrests have been made.
John Ibrahim has not been charged in relation to either raid.
