An investigation is underway after two police vehicles collided during a pursuit in Sydney’s southwest on Wednesday night, leaving two officers injured.
Officers were attempting to stop a driver wanted on outstanding warrants along Remembrance Drive in Bargo just after 7pm.
The pursuit was terminated shortly after it began due to concerns over the manner of driving.
A short time later, while one police vehicle was conducting a U-turn, it was struck by a second responding police car.
Both drivers were taken to Liverpool Hospital for assessment. Police said they suffered bruising and soft tissue injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the pursuit remains outstanding.
