Police investigate after armed robbery at Enfield, Ashfield hotels
Police are on the hunt for an armed robber who threatened staff and stole cash from two Sydney hotels overnight.

A manhunt is underway by police after an armed man robbed two hotels in Sydney’s inner west overnight.
Police say an armed man approached the bar at The Enfield Hotel on Coronation Pde about 8pm on Wednesday, and threatened staff at the hotel before demanding cash.
Staff handed over some money and the man ran away.
An hour later, the nearby Ashfield Hotel on Liverpool Rd was robbed by an armed man who threatened staff and demanded cash before fleeing the scene.
No one was injured in the robberies.
Police could not confirm the type of weapon used in the robberies.
Police attended both crime scenes and have spoken to witnesses, who described the man as 175cm tall with a fair complexion, solid build and dark hair.
He was said to be wearing grey tracksuit pants, a blue bomber jacket with white sleeves and a white surgical mask.
Police are investigating whether the two robberies are linked.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward and call Burwood Police or Crime Stoppers.
