Police claim a father was forced to kneel with his face covered as a gun was fired in front of his face while his partner and 10-month-old baby were home as part of a south west Sydney crime spree.
The alleged details of Saturday’s ordeal, after which two men remained on the run on Sunday night, have been laid bare in court documents obtained by The Daily Telegraph.

Firstly, they allegedly burst into a house on Francis St, Fairfield at 7am demanding drugs and cash from the male resident and ransacking the place for jewellery.
Three of the men allegedly moved to a granny flat, beating another man across the head with a metal pole in front of his girlfriend and their infant baby before leaving.
The residents were taken to hospital while the four men allegedly fled in the Mercedes, which had been stolen from Gladesville five days earlier.
An hour later the men allegedly burst into another home in Anton Place, Bonnyrigg, finding a man in the rear garage and “placed a firearm to his head”. The man’s partner and 10-month old were in the main house.
“The firearm is described as a silver ‘Colt’ style handgun with a black silencer attached,” according to police allegations contained in the court documents.
“The male offender demanded cash and drugs … The victim could hear yelling and screaming coming from inside the dwelling.
“The victim was told to walk to the rear door of the dwelling before being told to get on his knees.
“A covering was placed over the victim’s face.
“A shot was discharged from a firearm near the face of the victim … Who believed it to be a warning shot.”
Local Fairfield police happened to be patrolling outside the house when they noticed a man in the driver’s seat wearing a balaclava.
One of the alleged offenders yelled “Cops” and the men fled in the Mercedes — the police did not pursue.
The Mercedes was allegedly seen travelling 200kmh on the M5 at Prestons just moments before it crashed and burst into flames.
McEvoy and Martins allegedly fled into nearby residential streets.
Police got a tip McEvoy, a qualified “rope access technician” had run into the grounds of Prestons Public School, where he was found “cowering in the crawl space” under the building and arrested.
Martins was also arrested after being found on the roof of a nearby home and by 10.30am — three-and-a-half hours after the ordeal began — the two men were in custody.
McEvoy did not apply for bail in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday, where he faced three counts of special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-weapon, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime.
His case was adjourned to Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday.
Martins remained in hospital on Sunday night and the two other men remained on the run from police.
