A PEDESTRIAN was killed at Bexley North last night after being hit by a car.
Police were called to Slade Rd after reports a man had been struck, and found a man lying unconscious on the road.
Officers and ambulance paramedics performed CPR on the man, but he was unable to be revived.
The driver is understood to be an elderly woman who helped assist in the wake of the crash. She was taken to St George Hospital for mandatory testing last night.

The motoring organisation argues young drivers are still involved in a disproportionate number of road accidents and it is time for a review of their log book scheme.
NRMA chairman Tim Trumper said drivers aged 17 to 25 were over-represented in deaths and serious injuries — with crashes involving P-plate drivers making up 15 per cent of all fatalities on NSW roads, despite P-platers only accounting for eight per cent of all drivers.
