A bag found in the cabin of a truck which lost control and tipped over at the entrance to an M5 tunnel this morning is being tested for drugs after traffic around the airport was thrown into chaos.
A substance found inside a truck that crashed on the M5 at Arncliffe early this morning is being tested for drugs.
Police confirmed a bag was found in the cabin of the truck after the vehicle lost control and tipped over at the westbound tunnel entry near Marsh and West Botany Streets about 1am.

Traffic around the airport was thrown into chaos until the truck and its cargo were finally cleared away more than 12 hours later.
An excavator and bobcat were called in to clean up the debris as engineers inspected the gantry and tiles to assess if there was any structural damage caused by the crash.
The driver has passed an alcohol blood test but the results of drug tests had not been completed.
Drugs, fatigue and speed are the lines of inquiry the NSW Crash Investigation Unit will investigate.
Those returning home at the end of school holidays were forced to use a diversion route to rejoin the M5 at King Georges Road.
It’s understood the truck lost control while travelling around the loop of the tunnel while accessing an on-ramp before destroying stone panels on the wall as it fell on its side.
