Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Opposition Leader Michael Daley will be grilled by voters at a people’s forum hosted by The Daily Telegraph and Sky News on Wednesday night — less than three days before their political fate will be decided at the election.
The two leaders will go face-to-face in front of 100 undecided voters at the forum, broadcast live on television and here at DailyTelegraph.com.au — and it could help swing the verdict next Saturday.

The forum will be live-blogged and streamed on our website and Facebook page, which will be followed by our expert analysis and reporting of the big issues.
With polls indicating the election is on a knife-edge, Wednesday night’s The Daily Telegraph Sky News People’s Forum will be one of the last opportunities for Ms Berejiklian and Mr Daley to win over voters.
“The Daily Telegraph’s political team consistently sets the agenda in NSW politics, breaking the big state stories in the paper and online,” The Daily Telegraph editor Ben English said.
“We are proud to deliver the People’s Forum for our audiences to hear the final pitches from their leaders ahead of Saturday’s vote.”
The forum will be held at Western Sydney University, in the heart of electorates where every vote will be crucial.
Sky News Political Editor David Speers will moderate the one-hour forum from 8pm.
One hundred undecided voters selected by Galaxy polling will get an opportunity to ask the leaders whatever questions they wish at the forum.
“The upcoming Sky News and The Daily Telegraph People’s Forum will be a great opportunity to hear what’s on the mind of undecided voters and put the two leaders to the test,” Speers said.
“They have no idea what’s going to be asked and nor do we. It’s a raw and very real interaction between voters and the two leaders vying to be the premier of NSW.”
The Daily Telegraph’s political columnist Miranda Devine will be among experts who will discuss election issues on the David Speers Live program before the forum, and The Daily Telegraph’s State Political Editor Anna Caldwell will join Paul Murray Live to analysis the debate.
“We’re pleased to be taking our forum to the people of Western Sydney, who will play a major role in determining which party forms government,” Sky News chief executive Paul Whittaker said.
“We are the only broadcaster to take a live debate forum into a key electorate ahead of the NSW election.
“It continues our tradition of hosting People’s Forums in all elections around the country.”
