New mum Anna Heinrich has quickly learnt the importance of taking time for herself with a three-month-old.
Heinrich and husband Tim Robards, who met on season one of reality TV show The Bachelor, became parents to daughter Elle in November.
“This has finally, after a number of weeks, become a priority, as soon as I started to do more for me and take time for myself, I became a better me and a better mum to Elle,” Heinrich said. “Each day, If possible, I’ll take a bit of me time. This can be as simple as just taking a shower on my own, I kid you not.”
Both Heinrich and Robards, who are well known for their healthy lifestyles, took baby Elle for a staycation in Crown Sydney, keeping active on the tennis court.
“This was the first time, as a family, we stayed somewhere else other than our home,” Heinrich said.
“We brought Elle everywhere with us. From being the umpire at our tennis match (I won by the way) from sleeping through an incredibly delectable meal at one of Sydney’s best restaurants.”
Heinrich also indulged in the six-star resort’s spa which she said “would have to be one of the best spa experiences in the world”.
“It takes the word ‘relaxation’ to another level,” she said.
Sydney architect and interior designer Blainey North drew on the shapes and lifestyle of Sydney to create the spa. She also worked with Sydney surfboard shaping pioneer Hayden Cox to develop furniture and translucent walls made from fibreglass and resin.
Crown Sydney executive general manager Mark Holmes said the spa’s “incredible oasis” set a new standard in wellness services for Sydneysiders.
