Police have conducted significant inquiries in an attempt to locate him but are now appealing for further assistance.

He is described as of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, with a slim to medium build and short dark hair.

It is suspected he may have attempted to change his appearance, police said.

Mr Chiu has been spotted at Beverly Hills, Roselands and Lakemba.

He is also believed to have contacts throughout Sydney’s south west and the Australian Chinese community.

Investigators are seeking information from the community of his current whereabouts.
