A man has been stabbed and five others arrested after a fight outside a shopping centre in Sydney’s west this afternoon.
Reports of a brawl on Carlisle Ave, Mt Druitt just before 3pm on Thursday saw emergency services race to a carpark attached to Westfield Mt Druitt.
Police at the scene found a 20 year-old man in the carpark with a broken jaw and multiple stab wounds.
Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene before he was taken to Westmead Hospital for further treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers then arrested five men, who were taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.
A crime scene remains in place at the carpark but Westfield Mt Druitt is operating as normal.
Investigations are ongoing and police are asking for witnesses or anyone with footage of the incident to contact them.
