Anyone who’s friends with Model Co’s Shelley Sullivan knows the blonde bombshell knows how to throw a party.
Australia’s tan and makeup queen threw a 50th birthday bash at her lavish home in Bellevue Hill on Saturday night with a who’s who of Sydney in attendance.
More than 150 guests including Erika Heynatz and husband Andrew Kingston, Kate Waterhouse and Luke Ricketson, Adam Abrams, Tim Holmes a Court, Sally Obermeder and Andrew Stanway dressed in black, gold and hot pink to celebrate the milestone birthday, which kicked on until the early hours of the morning.
A few of Sullivan’s close friends were unable to attend the event, after news their close friend, tech entrepreneur Andrew Findlay had passed away in a fishing accident.
Sullivan underwent numerous costume changes throughout the night, opting for ensembles created by designer and friend, Jonathan Ward.
Sullivan, along with her husband Anthony, enlisted musical artists The Huxley’s, who wore their most flamboyant outfits while singing and mingling with guests, before powerhouse performer Nat Conway took to the mic for some classic disco songs.
Celebrated DJ’s Mitch Wick, Julian Tobias and Richard Penny – who just returned from Ibiza after playing with Fisher – then took to the decks to finish the night off.
When it came to entertainment, the beauty guru organised a burlesque performance in a giant Martini glass
Sullivan is the founder of MCoBeauty, the fastest growing cosmetic and skincare brand in Australia, having overtaken global giants Maybelline, L’Oreal and Rimmel.
