Embattled cricket legend Michael Clarke has emerged in one of his first public appearances since his dramatic and infamous public scuffle with ex-girlfriend Jade Yarbourgh.
Clarke appeared cheerful as he showed off his new haircut while leaving his gym in Sydney.
The cricket great kept it casual, wearing black chinos, an unzipped black jacket with a white tee and a pair of Nikes.
He was snapped donning a smile despite losing several lucrative business opportunities following the fallout from the Noosa incident.
His return to the public eye comes almost a month after The Daily Telegraph exclusively unveiled footage of his embarrassing clash that propelled him into the spotlight for the wrong reasons, seven years after his cricket retirement.
The footage displayed Clarke squaring off with Today Show host Karl Stefanovic in a wild fracas in a public park, in which Clarke was slapped in the face by his then-girlfriend Jade Yarbourgh for cheating accusations.
Clarke can be heard strenuously denying the cheating claims, telling Yarbourgh: “Baby, you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”
The ex-cricketer doubled down on his claim by swearing on his daughter’s life.
Later on in the video, Clarke blasts Stefanovic with a verbal spray.
The 41-year-old was also in the limelight on Monday supporting the NFL Superbowl at The Steyne in Manly.
He was pictured with NRL legend Laurie Daley and Big Sports Breakfast host Gerard Middleton.
Clarke had a decorated cricket career scoring 8,643 Test runs for Australia in an 11-year stint that included Ashes and World Cup victories.
He also had 36 international centuries and established a career as a commentator in retirement.
After news of the Noosa brawl broke, Clarke paid a hefty price losing several contracts and endorsements including a deal with RM Williams and a $150,000 commentary role for the tour of India.
