Melissa Caddick’s husband Anthony Koletti spotted at dog groomers

Anthony Koletti, the husband of missing fraudster Melissa Caddick, has been spotted taking their dogs to the groomers as police fear the mystery of his wife’s disappearance will never be solved.

Police are becoming increasingly sure the mystery of Sydney fraudster Melissa Caddick will never be solved, but for her husband the chores of daily life must go on.

Anthony Koletti on Friday took his two dogs to a pet groomer in Rose Bay – in the first sign life might slowly be returning to normal.

As investigations continue to unravel the financial scam Ms Caddick committed, officers are struggling to piece together her disappearance and the circumstances of her death.

A lack of CCTV footage near her home and no credible sightings is making it impossible to draw any conclusions.

Mr Koletti on Friday left the multimillion-dollar Dover Heights mansion where he and Ms Caddick’s son have continued living since she vanished.

He drove straight to Woof Dog and Cat Grooming on Old South Head Rd about 8am, dressed in a white T-shirt with black cargo pants and wearing what is believed to have been Off-White brand Air Jordan retro sneakers with a resell price tag upwards of $5000.

Mr Koletti parked his Mercedes AMG CLA 45 in a No Stopping zone and quickly ducked into the dog groomers to pick up the pups.

Mr Koletti ignored questions from The Saturday Telegraph as he walked back to his illegally parked car. He scooped up the two dogs he shared with Caddick and placed them into the back of the vehicle.

A groom at the dog salon costs about $80 per dog.

Mr Koletti has rarely been seen in public since Ms Caddick’s foot was found washed up on a south coast beach last month.

Ms Caddick’s badly decomposed foot washed up on Bournda Beach, on the NSW south coast, on February 21.

Some five days later, police were able to formally identify it.

In the aftermath of Ms Caddick’s disappearance, Mr Koletti’s lawyers told the Federal Court he had just $1.95 left to his name and had relied largely on her for money.

Ms Caddick – a self-proclaimed top financial adviser – owned 99 per cent of the lavish mansion. Her brother Adam Grimley owns the remaining one per cent.

Neither Mr Koletti, Ms Caddick’s son or Mr Grimley are accused of any wrongdoing in relation to the ASIC investigation or her disappearance.

A police spokeswoman said investigations were continuing into Ms Caddick’s disappearance. Once the investigation concludes it will be sent to the coroner.
