Matt Kean’s sexting to Eleni Petinos revealed by his angry ex-girlfriend

PREMIER Gladys Berejiklian has reprimanded rising star NSW Minister Matt Kean after he was caught out by his girlfriend — who works for the Prime Minister — sending explicit text messages asking a fellow state Liberal MP for sex.
Currently in the United States with Malcolm Turnbull as part of a delegation meeting President Donald Trump, the Premier said this morning she was “personally disappointed in him and have told him so.”
However, Ms Berejiklian said “it is nonetheless a personal matter.”
Mr Kean, a moderate factional protege of Michael Photios, last night admitted to The Daily Telegraph that his two-year relationship with Caitlin Keage, a senior adviser to Malcolm Turnbull, had ended suddenly in “spectacular” fashion.
His sexts were exposed yesterday by Ms Keage, who posted screenshots of exchanges between Mr Kean and Miranda MP Eleni Petinos (pictured) online.
In the exchange, which took place just days after Christmas, Mr Kean, the Fair Trading Minister, interrupts Ms Petinos “playing a board game with my family” by saying he is “tempted to drive down to see you”.
“Miss me huh? lol” Ms Petinos replies. “Yup. Really need to f ... you,” he says.
Ms Petinos says he already has “CK for that”.
“Is that a no,” he says.
She tells him, “it’s that time of the month”.
“OK come up later x.”
The next day, on December 28, Ms Petinos texted Mr Kean saying, “just got your Christmas card — you’re absolutely gorgeous — love you xx”.
Mr Kean last night told The Daily Telegraph: “I am deeply sorry my relationship with Caitlin has ended in such a spectacular and sad fashion. I wish her all the best.”
Ms Petinos did not return calls. And Ms Keage has since removed the posts.
Mr Kean’s boss, Premier Gladys Berejiklian, and Ms Keage’s boss, Mr Turnbull, are travelling together in Washington as part of an official delegation meeting US President Donald Trump.
Ms Keage, a South Australian, was previously a media adviser to Education Minister and SA Senator Simon Birmingham and in 2015 was mentioned as a possible candidate for a federal seat in Adelaide.
In a strange twist, it’s not the first time Mr Kean, the member for Hornsby, has faced issues with girlfriends dumping on him on social media.
Two years ago another girlfriend publicly accused him of having a relationship with Ms Keage.
