A man has died after his small truck smashed into a rock wall on a major highway in Sydney’s northwest.
Emergency crews were called to the westbound off-ramp of the M2 at Pennant Hills Rd in Carlingford around 4.30am following reports of a crash.
The off-ramp, which was earlier closed to allow police and crash investigators to inspect the scene, was reopened just before 11am on Friday.
The driver was alone in the car before the incident.
He has not been formally identified.
