A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death as she left work at an eastern Sydney hospital then called emergency services and led them to her, police will allege.
Gihan Kerollos, 47, had walked just metres out the doors of Prince of Wales Hospital onto Easy St in Randwick when her husband Mourad Kerollos, 60, allegedly stabbed her just before 9pm Saturday night.
Police believe Mr Kerollos parked his station wagon on Barker St and walked about 400m to where he met his wife outside the emergency department.
Court documents allege Mr Kerollos murdered his wife at 8.42pm.
It can be revealed Mr Kerollos allegedly called emergency services moments after the attack, telling them where his wounded wife was.

Mrs Kerollos was alive but unresponsive when paramedics arrived and could not be saved.
Residents on Barker St said they heard shouting about 9pm and saw a handcuffed Mr Kerollos who looked physically unwell after he returned to his car with police.
“We just heard a lot of shouting outside. Police told us to stay inside,” one woman said.
Another resident said he saw Mr Kerollos collapse to the ground a number of times before being taken away in an ambulance.
Forensics crews spent hours on Saturday night combing through Mr Kerollos’ car while he was questioned by detectives at Maroubra Police Station.
He was charged on Sunday morning with one count of murder and did not apply for release when his case was briefly mentioned in Parramatta Bail Court.
Mrs Kerollos had an administrative job at the hospital, where staff were devastated to learn the news of her death.
A NSW Health spokeswoman said “our deepest condolences are extended to the loved ones of the victim following this tragic event”.
Mrs Kerollos, believed to be a mother originally from Egypt, appeared to enjoy a close family life in the south Sydney suburb of Panania.
Her family were too distraught to discuss her death at the home on Sunday.
Neighbours said the family seemed pleasant but kept to themselves.
The case will return to Central Local Court on July 17.
