Llandilo house fire: Teen charged with burning down own home
A 15-year-old girl has allegedly burnt down her own home in western Sydney, causing about $1 million damage after flames engulfed the property over the weekend.

A 15-year-old girl has allegedly burnt down her own home in western Sydney, causing about $1 million damage.
Fire crews were called to Llandilo about 3.30pm on Sunday, finding the home already engulfed.
“The blaze was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW; however, the home was destroyed, with the damage valued at $1 million,” police said in a statement today
No injuries were reported but Nepean Police arrested the 15-year-old girl at the scene and took her to Penrith police station as detectives set up a crime scene at the house.
Police have today charged the girl, who lived at the home, with damage property by fire more than $15000 (DV) and destroy or damage property (between $2000 and $5000).
The girl was refused bail to appear before a Children’s Court today.
