Support your sport: Go digital
A LOT has changed during my time as a journalist and now we have embraced all things digital. Our subscribers are the real winners–particularly our sports fans.

Don't miss out on the headlines from Sport. Followed categories will be added to My News.
WHEN I began life as cadet journalist in Kingaroy I shot cricket matches on film.
The South Burnett Times introduced spot colour on its pages before eventually going full colour and the only digital device I worked with for a long time was my watch.
A lot has changed during my time as a journalist and now we have fully embraced all things digital.
Our cameras are digital, our website is constantly updated with the latest sports news and some days I spend almost as much time with a microphone in hand as I do a pen.
Our digital subscribers are the real winners though - particularly our sports fans.
The digital sphere gives us an opportunity to show more of the things that make us fall in love with sport.
Photo galleries show more of the action and our video interviews highlight the pure joy in an athlete's voice when they talk about their first Darling Downs, Queensland or Australian cap.
There's also some great "national bonuses" that come with a digital subscription including access to the best sports columnists in the country and Australia's most popular fantasy footy, SuperCoach, including extra information, stats, and player projections.
Most importantly though a digital subscription gives us a strong indication of what sport stories you love and want to read.
My sport team and I want to bring you more of the stories you value so buy a subscription, send us your feedback and give The Chronicle Sport page a like on Facebook.
