Facing off in the grand final qualifier at North Ipswich Reserve, the Tigers were on the front foot from the outset, racing out to a 24-6 lead at the break.
Two more tries to Norths pushed the advantage out to 34-6, before a late Curtly Hammond consolation try saw the Roosters go down 40-12.
Norths will now take on Goodna in this weekend’s grand final.
CIESIOLKA IMPRESSES IN NRLW DEBUT
Toowoomba’s Shenae Ciesiolka found herself in the winner’s circle after a successful debut for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRLW.
Coming off the bench late in the first half, Ciesiolka immediately found herself in the thick of things, laying a big hit on Dragons centre and reigning NRLW player of the year Jess Sergis.
Just moments later she almost set up an unlikely try, latching onto an Ali Brigginshaw bomb off the bounce, breaking the tackle attempts of two Dragons players, before her offload was put down by a teammate.
She went on to play 26 minutes, as the Broncos booked another grand final berth.
Killarney’s Steph Hancock was unable to lift the Dragons to victory, playing 46 minutes and finishing with 20 tackles.
The Broncos will next take on the Roosters, who they will also play in the decider.
