SPORT: Staying at home is forcing everyone to think outside the box with ways to stay entertained.

Toowoomba's Jed Hockin has turned a testing time into one of prosperity.

Spanish football powerhouse Real Madrid put the call out to supporters around the world to share their content from home.

Hockin created a video featuring trick shots from around his house, hitting targets set in different locations and scoring goals from the most unlikely of locations.

Such was the impressive nature of the clip, Real Madrid shared the video to its 111m Facebook fans, 86.3m Instagram and 55.8m Twitter followers.

"I'm always thinking of different ways to get videos out there," Hockin said.

"With all sports stopped, clubs like Real Madrid still need content for their social media pages.

"They started a challenge for Real Madrid fans to create or showcase what they're doing at home.

"It was a great opportunity for myself. Last Saturday I spent half the day coming up with some creative ideas and filming mini skills and trick shots with a little soccer ball.

"I've got a contact with the club and I sent it to him. I had no clue if they'd use it but I made sure to put my full effort into it either way.

"I waited to see if they would post it, and on Monday morning (Australian time) they put the video up.

"It got a good reception and currently has over 3.1m views, so people are enjoying it."

Hockin said he is continually taken aback with the reception he receives from his content, which in recent times has seen the likes of Real Madrid Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois following him.

"You see some different celebrities that might start following you and some big pages that want to repost your videos," he said.

"You could argue Real Madrid is the largest club in the world, and to think this video has come from just outside Toowoomba is pretty insane."

It isn't the only thing that Hockin has been working on in his spare time.

One of Australia's most sought after products, toilet paper, has become the latest subject of a world record.

Guinness World Records will add another feat to its books, one that Hockin's silky football skills are tailored to.

"I've been going for a world record with another challenge that Guinness has proposed," he said.

"A challenge has been started to see who can juggle toilet paper the most times in 30 seconds.

"I jumped on board and my best so far is 75. They announced who gets the world record on Friday, so I might try again before then."

Hockin said he didn't have to engage in the mad scenes to try and get his hands on the scarce commodity.

"My parents run a bed and breakfast, so they're stocked up on it," he said.

"I use it after filming the videos, I don't throw it away."

Hockin currently has a world record for the farthest goal scored by a rabona kick (60 metres).
