A pair of big results at the weekend saw the men’s A-grade competition turn on its head, with the bottom two sides upsetting the top two.
It started with the Aces blitzing the Dodgers to the tune of 12-1, giving them just their second win of the season and resigning the Dodgers to their third loss.
Ethan Robertson’s three hits propelled the Aces to one of their finest displays of the season with the pitching of Nick Murphy also a standout.
The All Stars moved into top spot courtesy of a 18-2 defeat of the Warriors/Devils.
Lincoln Walk was again in charge on the mound, while Nicholas Davis and Matt Pratt were strong with the bats.
In women’s A-grade action, Warriors (W) had their unbeaten streak tested, but ultimately were too strong for the All Stars, coming out on top 8-5.
Warriors (G) maintained a big gap between themselves and third with a clinical 13-0 defeat of the Dodgers.
