TOOWOOMBA police asked the public to be on the lookout for car thieves who pinched two vehicles from a Wilsonton home early this morning.
The offenders stole a grey Ford Falcon sedan (Qld registration JMD52) and a red Suzuki Swift (Qld registration 601WLU) from a Moore Crescent residence between 5.30-6.30am.
Toowoomba Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Tony Morris said it was likely the offenders also stole a red Mazda sedan from a Harristown address on December 1.
Sgt Morris said the Mazda was dumped near the Moores Cres address.
"It is likely the offences are related," he said.
"The fact that one stolen vehicle was dumped and the others are stolen nearby I would submit it was same offenders."
Sgt Morris asked anyone who saw something suspicious in the Moore Cres area, or if they see the stolen vehicles, to phone Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
