A TOOWOOMBA woman who claims to be the victim of a road rage incident in the CBD has spoken of her alleged ordeal.
The woman said she and her teenage daughter were suffering following the incident last month.
Toowoomba Police have charged two people with several offences, including entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, and assault occasioning bodily harm.
The woman said she was left with injuries as a result of the incident, while her daughter received bruises and lacerations.
She said the pair had also suffered psychologically.
“I slept with triple-0 on speed-dial,” the woman said.
“We’re locking the doors and the windows up, and (in the car) we’re constantly looking at the side and window mirrors.
“If I didn’t have such a wonderful support network, we would be consider relocating (from Toowoomba).”
The woman said eyewitnesses reportedly came forward to give evidence to police, but she is still hoping for dashcam footage.
“I would love video,” she said.
“I’m not upset that no one helped us during the incident, but I appreciate the people who came forward to give evidence.”
