SEE it's now reported that the "'TRC wants water talks" (TC 10/09) and further that the Mayor has called for a "grown-up discussion" about the options for underpinning future water demand.

He is also quoted as saying "…water is the limiting factor in population growth …".

Council cuts down scale of subdivision

Many of your ratepayers (I refuse to call them/us customers as we have no choice but to deal with the council over water supply issues) have been saying this even before the Wivenhoe pipeline was conceived, but particularly since the forced formation of your present organisation (I use the term loosely - at least as far as water supplies are concerned).

And if you couldn't see what the rampant development permitted - or perhaps even encouraged - over the past two terms of your council was leading us headlong into, then perhaps a visit to Specsavers is long overdue?
