A Toowoomba woman has won a fitness and transformation challenge, beating out people from all across Australia.

Tahneea Hoffman was named the winner of the Elite Supps 8-Week Transformation Challenge last week, after losing more than 10kg, and 16cm from her waistline.

The competition involved workout programs which were tailored to each participants needs as well as tailored meal plans.

Ms Hoffman has been working on health and fitness for the past decade but in recent times life has gotten in the way.

The 30-year-old mum-of-one said the challenge was exactly what she needed to boost her confidence.

“I wanted to join the 8-week challenge as I had been in a bit of a slump,” she said.

“I hadn’t been taking care of myself and living life to the fullest. I had a poor sleep routine and diet. I definitely added a few COVID kilos.

“I saw it as an opportunity to challenge myself, mentally and physically.”

Ms Hoffman went from a size 14 to 10 in a matter of weeks by eating healthy, meal prepping as well as lifting weights and doing cardio.

As the first-place winner she won a four-night stay at Gwinganna Resort on the Gold Coast.

“I was so shocked I won. I was surprised and in disbelief so was barely able to form a sentence,” she said.

“The Elite Supps team were very proud of my consistency and effort throughout the challenge. I think I won because I told myself I would and acted like it. I was more determined than motivated 90% of the time.”

Ms Hoffman said before the challenge she was interested in fitness, but her passion has since grown.

“Getting on top of my fitness and well-being again reignited the fire in me to want to help others through fitness training,” she said.

“I became a qualified personal trainer two years ago and life just got in the way. Now I’m finally ready to open my own outdoor personal training and bootcamp business.”

Ms Hoffman is launching Red Face Fitness next month and plans on running her own eight-week challenges to help other achieve results like she did.

“I’d like to encourage others to take control of their health, both physically and mentally, so they can start living their best lives,” she said.

“I want to help people feel as good as I do. Everyone deserves to feel amazing and capable.

“I plan to have my business up and running in the next month and will be running incredible opening specials.”
