HERE is a prime opportunity to showcase the good work your local landcare group is doing - no matter where you are on the Downs.
For the first time in its five year history, the Focus on Farms Landcare Photo Competition has broadened the entry criteria for the Nicki Laws Landcare section to include all members of Landcare and other environmental groups on the Darling Downs and in the Condamine Catchment area.
That includes all residents of the Southern Downs Regional Council area and the Western Downs Regional Council area, as well as those in Texas, Goondiwindi and Inglewood.
Entrants are required to submit their best visual presentation promoting a land care activity in line with the theme "making a difference".
People can showcase projects large and small, such as tree planting, weed management, and more.
Those living in urban areas are also encouraged to enter.
This year's winner will receive a generous monetary prize donated by Queensland Water and Land Carers, the perpetual Nicki Laws Trophy, and a half-day drone workshop with Fly the Farm Drones.
Entries in this category can be dropped off at your nearest public library before August 20.
