A new family-run business has launched in Toowoomba with the focus on celebrating new life.
After a year of late nights and planning Sahra Hintz has opened her online business thee bird.
Launching on December 1, the store sells a range of collections for bubs “made with the highest quality and love.”
It offers birth announcement plaques, onesies, bibs, muslin wraps and soft bedding.
Mrs Hintz is a mum-of-one with another baby on the way and said her dream was inspired by her youngest daughter Layla who is also known as Layla Bird.
“She is the sweetest soul you will ever meet with a complimentary side of sass,” Mrs Hintz said.
“We are a little local family of five and a half, including another baby bird on the way and two handsome border collies.
“We have an extended family of professionals who have collectively and ethically helped bring thee bird. to life for your little love’s comfort and joy.
“As a mum you have a lot of late nights to think and when the concept came to me, I knew what I wanted to do but I just needed to find a way to make it a reality.
“Here we are now 12 months later and I am excited and nervous.
“I believe in what we have created and what we will continue to create and hope people love our collections as much as we do bringing them to life.”
Not only does thee bird. stock amazing pieces for your children but it also supports charities which are close to the hearts of the Hintz family.
Throughout the year donations will be made to Sweet Dreams through the Red Nose as well as Endometrioses Australia.
“thee bird. is so much more than just a business, it’s about celebrating new life and supporting charities,” she said.
“We personally struggled with infertility for a number of years before our little miracle joined us and know the hidden struggles first-hand and want to create awareness.”
