Last minute tickets for the FIFA Women’s World Cup drop with only 100 days to go
With just 100 days left until the world’s best female soccer players hit Australia and New Zealand, the milestone has been marked in Sydney withy a late release of more tickets.

A last-minute round of tickets for the FIFA Women’s World Cup were released today as fans gathered at the Sydney Football Stadium to mark 100 days till the games.
Thousands of fans will travel to Sydney to watch the world’s largest female sporting event in July and August, which will be held across cities in Australia and New Zealand.
This is the first time the sporting event has been co-hosted by two countries. Sydney will play host to 11 of the 64 matches.
NSW Premier Chris Minns kicked off the 100 Days to go event. He said the event was an opportunity to showcase Sydney and provide a long-lasting legacy to the community.
“This will be a significant moment for Sydney and NSW,” he said.
“I know that the next generation of Matildas will be inspired when they see our global superstars Sam Kerr, Clare Polkinghorne and Hayley Raso among others take the field for Australia.”
The Matildas will open the World Cup on July 20 when they take on the Republic of Ireland.
FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia chief operating officer Jane Fernandez encouraged the community to buy tickets and support the women’s teams.
“The entire football community is as excited as ever to experience the biggest and greatest ever women’s football event,” she said.
“This is an event you simply do not want to miss out on – with tickets back on sale today, now is your chance to secure your seat and witness history in the making.”
