The world’s hottest K-pop band Blackpink are now officially in town after touching down at Sydney airport yesterday to crowds of squealing “blinks” — fans of the chart-topping foursome.

Blackpink has more than 26 million subscribers on YouTube and are the first and only K-pop girl group to be among Billboard’s list of emerging artists.

Members Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa arrived in Sydney yesterday and were spotted smiling and waving at awaiting fans who watched their every move.

Aussie member Roseanne Parks or Rose — who is originally from Melbourne — was absent yesterday after catching an earlier flight Down Under.

The former Box Hill local left for Seoul’s fledging K-pop industry at just 16 years of age and has since seen international success as a part of Blackpink.

Tickets to see the group’s Your Area World Tour show on Saturday at Qudos Bank Arena were sold out months in advance and desperate fans are forking out the big bucks to see them.

Last minute tickets are selling for up to $400 on Gumtree and Twitter.

“In serious need of any available tickets for Blackpink concert in Sydney,” one twitter user posted as fans flooded images of the group’s touchdown.

“I really wanna go to Blackpink in Sydney but can’t fine (general admission) tickets,” said another post.
