The father of rugby league star Josh Addo-Carr and his partner have been arrested following an alleged assault in western Sydney that left a man with head injuries.
Joey Addo and Rennae Trindall were both charged after police were called to a residence in Doonside, around 3pm Saturday following reports of an assault.
Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command arrived and found a 54-year-old man with head injuries, a police spokesman said.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police confirmed they arrested a 36-year-old woman nearby.
Following inquires police also arrested a 51-year-old man in Doonside, a spokesman said.
They were both taken to Blacktown Police Station.

Trindall was charged with enter enclosed land without lawful excuse, contravene prohibition restriction in AVO, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and stalk intimidate intend fear.
Trindall appeared at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday via video link where she discovered she will held on remand until Monday due to the availability of her legal team.
A handcuffed Trindall blew kisses to distraught supporters in the courtroom. Three people, including a teenage girl, waved to her as they sat in court for the brief proceedings.

Addo was not charged with assault.
Addo-Carr is a winger with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and a NSW Origin and Australian Kangaroos representative.
He played 119 matches for Melbourne Storm before making the switch to the Bulldogs in 2022.
Addo-Carr has 15 Origin caps for NSW and has run out seven times for Australia.
