Has John Ibrahim put a ring on it?
Diners at Potts Point new French diner, Franca, wondered as much yesterday after his girlfriend, Sarah Budge arrived for lunch with a girlfriend sporting a spectacular sapphire and diamond ring on that engagement ring finger.
The 29-year-old model was driven to her lunch date by Ibrahim, who showed all the romance you’d expect of the Kings Cross king pin, apparently texting her: “if you get drunk, don’t bother coming home” - according to Budge, who relayed the message to her married friend.
Striding into the restaurant, her tanned legs on show in tiny white shorts and studded Valentino heels, Budge filled her friend in about her recent court drama when she was cleared of three gun possession charges.
Budge pleaded not guilty after NSW Police found a defaced Glock 26 pistol and a magazine loaded with 16 bullets in her Double Bay unit in August 2017.
Over an assortment of colourful cocktails, the Crane Bar, Kings Cross owner complained she spent the final day in court awaiting her fate, shivering and shaking - but not out of fear, rather the cool temperatures in the courtroom.

Witnesses who contacted The Sunday Telegraph yesterday said the stunning brunette was speaking at a volume audible to all tables around her, revealing she had been given a lot of advice before it was decided she would take the witness stand and testify on her own behalf.
Perhaps the enormous bling was Ibrahim’s way of congratulating his girlfriend for being found not guilty, where explosive text messages between the couple were tendered in evidence.
One nasty exchange revealed Budge felt humiliated by Ibrahim’s associations with other women, writing: “it’s so unfair, I keep looking like a fool with these women all posting in your room ... it does make me feel sad and confused,” to which he replied: “shut the f*ck up, I’m busy.”
When she was found not guilty last month, she was heard in court telling a lawyer: “you never have to see one of my text messages again!”
Ibrahim and Budge have dated for five years and after the trial escaped overseas apparently for a holiday, returning October 10.
