The pregnant partner of Jack de Belin has held a baby shower amid controversy over the handling of sexual assault allegations against the sidelined NRL player.
Dressed in a white dress, Alyce Taylor, who was 20-weeks pregnant when police charged de Belin with sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman after a night out in Wollongong last December, was pictured on Instagram celebrating with friends at a South Coast winery on Sunday.

De Belin intends to plead not guilty to the charge and has also denied assaulting the woman to Ms Taylor, who is his long-term girlfriend.
De Belin did not stay at the couple’s house in the Wollongong suburb of Coniston in the days after being charged.
But it is understood the couple is still together.
Ashleigh Sims, the wife of de Belin’s St George Illawarra teammate Tariq, uploaded an Instagram story showing Ms Taylor dancing at the winery with a sign saying “oh baby”.
“You are one of the most loving, caring strong women I know — you have a heart of gold, little B is so damn lucky to be able to have you as her mum,” Mrs Sims wrote on a post.
Ms Taylor has changed her own Instagram account to private as the high-profile case plays out in the courts.
De Belin has launched legal action against the NRL and the sport’s Australian governing body over the code’s new powers for players charged with serious criminal offences, claiming they do not have the power to suspend him after he was stood down in February.
The case returns to court on Thursday — two days out from St George Illawarra’s first-round clash with North Queensland.
The sexual assault case returns to court on April 17.
