How NSW Gang Intelligence cops snatched murdered Hells Angel Wayne Schneider’s corpse
NSW Police snatched the body of a murdered Sydney Hells Angel just hours before he was buried after discovering the corpse had been secretly flown back from Thailand.

NSW Police snatched the body of a murdered Sydney bikie just hours before he was buried after discovering the corpse had been secretly flown back from Thailand.
Police were stunned to learn Wayne Schneider’s body had been repatriated and his funeral was to be held the next day.
“On December 10, 2015, the NSW Gang Intelligence unit received information that his funeral was to be at Pine Grove cemetery, Minchinbury, the next day,’’ papers at the NSW coroner’s court reveal.
Gang Squad Detective Sergeant Paul Roe and an Australian Federal Police officer went to the cemetery, where they spoke to a funeral director and were told Schneider’s funeral was to be held the following day.

The officers viewed the body to establish if it was in fact the notorious former Hells Angel but it was too difficult to establish if it was Schneider.
Police contacted State Coroner Michael Barnes and arranged to move Schneider’s body to the Glebe morgue.
Forensic officers then matched the right palm print of the corpse to that of Schneider, positively identifying him.
Officers attended his December 15 funeral and noted Hells Angels and organised crime figures in attendance.
Boxing identity Antonio Bagnato hired four men to kidnap and kill international drug dealer Schneider whose body was discovered by Thai police a metre deep grave in 2015, a NSW coronial hearing was told last week.
He had been taken to a rented house later tied to chair and beaten to death before being buried in the makeshift grave.
Before his murder, Schneider was one of the biggest importers of illegal drugs into Australia. Both the NSW and Australian crime commissions had significant files on him.
At the time he was killed there were 375 intelligence entries and eight outstanding warrants on the former Hells Angel.
