One car has mounted another, coming to rest at a near 45-degree angle after a crash on Sydney’s lower north shore.

One car has mounted another, coming to rest at a near 45-degree angle after a crash on Sydney’s lower north shore.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Elizabeth St in Artarmon about 12.30pm on Tuesday, arriving to find a red Honda SUV resting on the driver’s side of a parked black Toyota Camry sedan.

Police said the Honda driver, a woman believed to be in her 70s, was already out of her vehicle when they arrived.

She was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Police said the cause of the crash was now under investigation.
